Dextera Telemedicine Solutions
End-to-End Telemedicine Expertise

Transforming Healthcare access

Our telemedicine expertise covers end-to-end project design, implementation, and support.

We help hospitals, municipalities, and healthcare providers scale telemedicine services across multiple use cases:

Dextera has led some of the most ambitious digital health projects in the region, including the Greek National Telemedicine Network, where it equipped 82 remote public health facilities and deployed over 3,180 home patient monitoring systems. The company continues to support the network’s expansion to over 378 additional sites.

Dextera has also worked with the Hellenic Navy to deliver telemedicine capabilities aboard naval frigates, enabling real-time remote medical support.

Additionally, it has supported municipalities with portable telemedicine stations to bring healthcare to remote and underserved populations, handling everything from technology integration to healthcare personnel training.

Our Solutions

Homecare for Citizens
Using Mobile Devices

This service enables real-time remote health monitoring for citizens—particularly elderly or chronically ill individuals—through portable homecare kits provided by municipal social services.

Each kit includes a tablet with pre-installed telecare software and medical devices capable of measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, and glucose.

All data is automatically transmitted to a central reference center, where healthcare professionals monitor patient conditions and provide timely intervention when needed. The system supports secure videoconferencing, alert notifications, and integration with electronic patient records, ensuring continuous and coordinated care for residents in their own homes.

Mobile Telemedicine Backpack for 'Help at Home'

Designed for municipal “Help at Home” programs, this mobile unit allows healthcare staff to visit residents with a specialized medical backpack.

The backpack includes a tablet/laptop with internet access and diagnostic equipment such as a digital stethoscope, ECG, otoscope, thermometer, and, optionally, a portable ultrasound.

Medical staff perform examinations on-site, with results either stored for later review or transmitted live to remote physicians for immediate evaluation, depending on the case. This ensures timely diagnosis, enhances primary care delivery, and supports social inclusion.

 Fixed Telemedicine Station
in Municipal Facilities

A fully equipped and permanent telemedicine station is installed in municipal locations such as elderly centers or town halls.

Citizens can use these stations by appointment to receive remote consultations from doctors of various specialties, provided the Municipality has an active contract or partnership with healthcare service providers.

The station features medical devices for examinations and a telemedicine software suite enabling real-time video sessions, secure data handling, and automatic report generation. It supports the local community by offering accessible and decentralized healthcare services.
